Making sense with CAOS
NuLife Med is a durable medical equipment service company that delivers surgeon-prescribed therapies to patients following orthopaedic and podiatric surgeries. NuLife Med handles the claims and appeals process for the patients they serve, which totaled 50,000 claims and appeals per year.
NuLife Med worked with GxP Partners to create an application, using the Appian platform, to create the Claims Automation Optimization System (CAOS). At its core, CAOS is actually four systems rolled into one. It's a document management system. It's a data management system. It's a claims management system. And it's a customer relationship management solution for both patients and providers. Prior to CAOS, claims were handled manually, with each person being able to handle 14-20 claims per day. Now, using the automated system each person can handle 30-40 claims per day, a 100% improvement in productivity.
Improving Delinquent Tax Sales
Tarrant County, TX Constables office handles tax sales of property within the county. This process was handled manually and took up to 14 days for the process to conclude, and was fraught with inconclusive results. GxP Partners, using the Appian software platform, created a DTS solution that allowed processors to speed up the process to 2-3 days, and improve overall results. The overall result has been improved productivity and improved revenue generation.
Installing Workfore Safety and Readiness
George Sink is a law firm in Charleston, SC with over 300 employees. Their business challenge was getting their employees to be able to return to work safely in this COvid-19 environment we all are currently living in. In addition to getting their employees back to work, was to desire to monitor their employee’s health and facilities daily. GxP Partners took the Appian Workforce and Readiness (WSR) application, configured and customized it to Sink Laws’ exact requirements and had it working in one week.
